The company: twenty eight passes issued for the season

No pass here was granted on the strength of an email. Every woman below sat across a table from the desk before her badge was printed: identity seen, age confirmed at eighteen or over, each portrait held up beside her. What a badge says is what crosses your lobby.

This is an adults only listing, as is every introduction the desk makes. Sort it by age band, by height or by the stage she calls home, or ignore the filters and read the passes in order.

The company

Filter by age band, by hair or by the stage she calls home. Every badge opens a full pass: her rail, the stations nearest her door, the photo call in full and a message with her name already typed.

01 Scene

What is printed on a badge

Four lines: her name, her age, her height and the figure her evening opens at, £250 whichever name you stop on. Step past the badge and the whole pass opens behind it, how she likes an evening to run, the rail from one hour to a night, the platforms nearest her door and a message with her name already typed. The Verified mark is not decoration; the photo policy sets out what was checked and when.

02 Scene

Her home stage is not her only stage

The district on a pass is where she sleeps, not the edge of her map. Three of the company keep front doors inside WC2E, Karolina, Nancy and Tina, and the rest are on the Covent Garden stage most nights of the week. Living close by can shave minutes off a busy evening, but it never moves the figure, in Bloomsbury or anywhere else.

03 Scene

Casting for the night you actually have

Reading twenty eight passes at once is a chore, so start from the evening. A table before curtain up wants somebody who will watch the thing and have an opinion at the interval; a late supper after a long day wants a slower tempo. Name the evening and the desk will put two or three passes forward.

04 Scene

Who is genuinely free

Every pass shows her standing in plain words, booking or away, with the date she returns. Nobody is marked free to make the season look busier than it is, and tonight's answer comes by message, because a diary moves faster than a web page.

05 Scene

From the badge to the call sheet

Note the name, then write once with the date, the starting hour, how many hours you would like and where she should come. The full rail is on the rates page, and wording to copy sits on the booking page.
