Meet Roxi

// Notes from the wings
  • 168 cm, curvy, strong through the shoulders
  • Black hair to the waist, and brown eyes that give her away
  • Early twenties, quick English, no interest in being mysterious
  • Boxing three mornings a week, podcasts, surfing trips
  • Pimlico home, back from the coast on the 28th

Roxi laughs before she speaks, usually at herself, and it disarms a room within about four seconds. She is 168 cm and curvy, strong through the shoulders from three mornings a week on a boxing pad, her black hair long, her brown eyes giving away exactly how entertained she is. Early twenties. She dresses for movement and colour: a bright dress, a battered leather jacket, trainers in her bag for the walk home, and a manicure that never survives a week.

Playful is the first quality and vivacious is the second, though what people mention afterwards is how easy she makes everything. She has no interest in being mysterious. Her English is quick and full of asides. Boxing is the fitness habit she is slightly evangelical about. Podcasts are what she listens to while doing it. Surfing is the thing that steals her weeks, which is precisely where she is at the moment, on a coast somewhere with poor reception and no intention of checking her messages.

When she is back, her evenings belong behind the station. Coal Drops Yard, where the old coal sheds now hold bars and restaurants under those long curved roofs, is her sort of place: loud enough to be fun, open late, and two minutes from the canal path when you want to stop shouting over music. She likes the walk along the water afterwards, and she likes that none of it existed in this form when she was at school.

Pimlico is home, and Kings Cross evenings restart on the 28th once she is off the water. Ask booking to put your night on the board for that week and it will be there when she lands.

Her home stage is Pimlico, and she travels from there to the venues this house covers. Her full listing sits with the rest of the company on the companions page.

What an evening costs

She is on a surf trip and back on the 28th, with the first evenings after that already being pencilled in. Two hours at £500 covers the yard and a walk along the canal. A message now is all it takes to be first in line when she lands.

Each length on the ladder, the travel rule and the terms for a change of plan are set out line by line on the rates page, and the wording to send sits on the booking page.

04 Scene

An evening with Roxi

Nine o'clock, and she turns up in a good mood already, which is not something she manufactures for the occasion. One drink under the curved roofs while she tells you something ridiculous that happened that week, and she is genuinely funny rather than merely cheerful, which is a rarer thing than it should be.

Later the canal path is the best part. It is dark, quiet and two minutes from all that noise, and she walks slowly along it telling you about the coast and asking what you would do if you could disappear for a fortnight. She is easy to talk to at that hour and easier still to keep out late, which is worth knowing before you book two hours.

// Asked backstage

Roxi, in her words

On a coast with terrible signal and very good waves. I come back sunburnt, salty and considerably better company than when I left.

Three mornings a week, and I am thoroughly insufferable about it. Nothing on earth clears a head faster, and it has ruined my nails permanently.

Long interviews with people who are good at something odd. I will absolutely recommend four of them before the evening is out.

// Guest book · moderated

Roxi, in the book

Roxi is away from the board until 28 September 2026. On a surf trip, evenings restart when she lands Ask us who is carrying a pass tonight and we will name three who suit the same evening.

// Nothing pinned here yet

No moderated note has been left for Roxi on this site so far. We publish first names, the month and the words themselves, we never invent a line, and we never print anything a companion would rather keep private. When guests do write in, their notes appear here exactly as they arrived.
