What a figure on the rail buys
The hours written on the sheet and her company through them, with nothing else on sale. Fees are for time and companionship only. Anything inside Zones 1 and 2 arrives with the travelling already counted, whether she walks five minutes to the Strand or crosses the bridge to Waterloo. A late hour costs nothing extra, no extra is priced, and no service charge lands at the end. Stretching an evening once it has begun is agreed in writing first, at the ordinary rate, and only when her diary has room behind you.
Why every figure is written down first
A running order only works when everybody knows their cue. The desk names her, the start time, how many hours and what it costs, all in the same thread before anything else happens, so the evening is real to both sides before she dresses and travels, and the hour then belongs to nobody else. Nothing is asked of you in advance beyond three details and a clear yes.
Nights that run through to morning, events and journeys out of London want more notice than an hour upstairs, because a whole night is time she cannot offer anybody else and fares and rooms are often arranged ahead. Where the travelling stops being free

The fee agreed in writing is settled with her in person when she arrives, in pounds. Cards are not taken, which is why no card number is ever asked for, and tips are not expected.
